PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) wants to immediately realize and develop the aluminum business . "Our Adaro Aluminum will be realized as soon as possible. We hope to start this year," said President Director of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), Garibaldi Thohir or who is familiarly called Boy Thohir in a virtual meeting, Monday (18/4/2022) .
Adaro Energy Indonesia will focus on the execution of the project and hopes it will be realized in 2024. Boy Thohir stated that the aluminum business will be the company's focus going forward. "Then in 2023 we will focus on how we can execute the project well and we hope that in 2024 it will be realized," he said.
However, he admits that he has to prove to the market that he is able to carry out his project well. "As is known, the name of the project, we honestly have to prove to the market that Adaro can execute this project well," he said.
Boy Thohir is optimistic about the steps taken by the company to develop the aluminum business. The company is trying to execute the aluminum project, according to Boy, as a motivation if it is on the right track. "But to be honest, this is also our motivation at Adaro that the path we are going to take is the right way. I am very optimistic," he said.
Boy gave an example, one of the aluminum business prospects saw the Lucid brand that uses aluminum. "It turns out that the high-end battery car is made of aluminum . Lucid is a new brand in America, all aluminum," he said.
