PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk ( MDKA ) reported that it had paid off the principal and the 12th interest payment of the Merdeka Copper Gold Phase I 2020 Series B Sustainable Bonds. This payment was made by MDKA on Sunday (30/7).

The number of bonds that mature on July 30 2023 consists of a principal of IDR 726.35 Billion and interest on the 12 bonds of around IDR 19.06 Billion. 

Thus, the total principal repayments and interest payments for the 12 bonds is IDR 745.41 Billion

The funding source used by MDKA to make this payment comes from internal cash.

With this settlement, all of MDKA's obligations on the bonds have ended. 

"Furthermore, there is no other material impact on the repayment of the principal and interest of the 12 bonds on operational activities, law, financial condition, or business continuity of Merdeka Copper Gold," wrote Merdeka Copper Gold Corporate Secretary Adi Adriansyah in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange's website. , Tuesday (1/8).
