Delta Dunia Makmur Reaches Revenue of USD 426 Million in the First Quarter of 2024

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk, or Delta Dunia Group (DOID), the parent company of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), BUMA Australia Pty Ltd (BUMA Australia), PT Bukit Makmur Internasional (BUMA International), PT Bukit Teknologi Digital (BTech), and PT BISA Ruang Nuswantara (BIRU), reported strong operational and financial performance for the first quarter of 2024.

In the first quarter of 2024, the Group recorded revenue of USD 426 million or equivalent to IDR 6.9 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 16,373 per USD), an increase of 4% (YoY). The Group's EBITDA grew by 8% YoY to USD 80 million, driven by increased revenue from strategic expansion and cost control.

This increased the EBITDA margin from 20.8% in Q1 2023 to 21.6% in Q1 2024. The Group also successfully maintained prudent financial management, achieving a 9% reduction in operating costs from USD 24 million in Q1 2023 to USD 22 million in Q1 2024.

Similarly, operating profit reached USD 16 million, showing an increase of 12% compared to the same period the previous year.

Delta Dunia Group Director, Dian Andyasuri, explained that capital expenditure (Capex) increased by 80% YoY to USD 40 million, driven by ramp-up production for ongoing customers as well as capex costs for repair and maintenance.
