PT Trimegah Bangun Persada (TBP) Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel is targeting nickel production from its two operational smelters using rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) technology, Megah Surya Pertiwi (MSP) and Halmahera Jaya Feronikel (HJF), to reach 120,000 tons of nickel content in ferronickel.

Head of Investor Relations Harita Nickel Lukito Gozali stated that as a sustainable, integrated nickel mining and processing company operating on Obi Island, North Maluku, Harita Nickel has two operational nickel mines.

These two mines are TBP and a nickel mine operated by its subsidiary, PT Gane Tambang Sentosa (GTS). TBP and GTS play a role in supplying nickel ore to NCKL’s RKEF smelter and High-Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) refinery.
