The Indonesia Miner 2026 conference and exhibition, held on May 5–7 in Jakarta, brought together more than 2,100 cross-sector delegates from 20 countries to accelerate technology integration and operational efficiency across the mining value chain.
The sixth edition of the forum served as a meeting point for mining companies, technology providers, investors, and policymakers, covering discussions from upstream exploration to downstream processing and mineral industrialization.
This year’s agenda featured 60 speakers across three main pillars: Critical Metals, Coal & Energy, and Gold, Copper & Other Minerals. Meanwhile, the exhibition area hosted 46 companies showcasing technologies and operational solutions designed to support the industry’s transformation.
To encourage stronger business interaction, the exhibition adopted a more open booth concept, allowing faster and more direct communication between technology providers and potential clients.
Technical sessions such as Miners Talk and workshops were also designed to provide practical insights and live demonstrations of mining solutions and operational technologies.
Among the participating companies, Metso introduced modular crushing and screening plant solutions aimed at simplifying mining infrastructure installation and accelerating project execution timelines.
“Through this session, we were able to share how a modular approach can help the industry address project execution challenges more efficiently,” said Jason Perrella, Technology Manager Mining Crushers at Metso.
Digitalization and automation also became key themes throughout the event. Coolon introduced its Brilliant Connected Lights (BCL) and digital twin technology, which enables real-time operational visibility through integrated lighting infrastructure.
Meanwhile, PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk highlighted fatigue monitoring technology based on Electroencephalogram (EEG) data to improve safety, asset reliability, and long-term productivity.
Human capital development and inclusivity were also discussed through sessions organized by Women in Mining and Energy (WiME) Indonesia, focusing on the implementation of responsible mining standards, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles in mining operations.
The conference reflected the mining industry’s ongoing shift toward digitalization, predictive technologies, and data-driven asset management as companies adapt to increasing operational and sustainability demands.
Indonesia Miner 2026 concluded on May 7 after three days of conferences, technical discussions, networking sessions, and product demonstrations, reinforcing its role as a platform for collaboration and strategic partnerships across the global mining ecosystem.
