PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (“MGR” or “EMAS”) today announced an increase in the Gold Ore Reserve for the Pani Gold Mine in Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province.
Based on the latest technical study, the Pani Gold Mine’s Gold Ore Reserve has risen to 4.8 million ounces, 150% higher than the previous 1.9 million ounces, drawn from a Mineral Resource of over 7 million ounces, making it one of the largest primary gold deposits in Indonesia.
As previously announced, the Pani Gold Mine commenced mining operations on October 1, 2025 and is targeting first gold production in the first quarter of 2026, with potential peak output of up to 500,000 ounces per year by 2032.
“This reserve update underscores the long-term prospects of the Pani Gold Mine. We are confident this achievement will strengthen the company’s growth foundation and deliver added value to all stakeholders,” said Boyke Abidin, President Director of PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk.
